Scott has 35 years of experience in the human capital industry. He has successfully lead the Human Resource function for two large corporations and has been responsible for driving the successful completion of over 2000 retained searches with more than 300 clients. After Scott founded, grew, and lead the largest full service human resources firm in the Midwest and with 25 years serving as a trusted advisor to executives in the C-Suite, Scott chose a transition of his own, returning to his entrepreneurial roots to launch Robinson Resource Group LLC, a premier boutique executive search and coaching company.
Scott is certified by the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches as a Registered Corporate Coach™—one of fewer than 1000 such certified Coaches worldwide. He is also certified in the Hogan Assessment and Leadership Effectiveness Analysis tools. Additionally, Scott is a member of the Institute of Coaching Professional Association at McLean Hospital—a Harvard Medical School affiliate. Scott is active in many business organizations including The Executives’ Club of Chicago (ECC) and the Young President’s Organization (YPO Gold) where he was the past Chapter Chairman and Chapter Education Chairman. Additionally, Scott is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and serves on several BODs.
Scott holds a Bachelor degree in Psychology from Illinois State University and a Master of Science degree in Psychology as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from George Williams College.
