The RRG Story

After two-and-a-half decades of growing and leading the largest full-service human resources firm in the Midwest, industry expert Scott Robinson returned to his entrepreneurial roots to launch RRG, a premier boutique talent firm, in 2012. Equipped with a background in both clinical psychology and business, Scott spent the next decade following his passion by serving as a trusted advisor to executives in the C-Suite. In 2022, Scott made the thoughtful decision to focus his firm wholly on the often-overlooked personal side to being a business leader, and today, RRG proudly serves as a highly-coveted coaching resource for top executives nationwide.

Managing Director

Scott has decades of experience in the human capital industry, which allows him to be impactful across industries and functions and to measurably contribute to his clients’ successes. In addition to serving on several BODs, Scott is active in many business organizations including The Executives’ Club of Chicago (ECC), the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO Gold), and the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD). Scott is a WABC Registered Corporate Coach™, and is certified in the Hogan Assessment and Leadership Effectiveness Analysis tools. Additionally, Scott is a member of the Institute of Coaching Professional Association at McLean Hospital—a Harvard Medical School affiliate.

Wayne brings over 30 years of business and HR experience, 15+ at the Senior HR role, in successful Public, Private, Family and ESOP companies including Ulta Beauty, AutoNation, Office Depot and PepsiCo–Taco Bell. Wayne successfully drove people and talent initiatives from strategic thought to full execution including organizational restructurings, an IPO, and the start-up and spin-out of a company. Wayne understands the impact that quality talent has on the bottom line and in the satisfaction of employees and clients. Wayne is a certified Leadership Coach (LCS™ designation) and is experienced and certified in the use of assessments tools.
